Basile Salomon Pereira de Carvalho (born 31 October 1981 in Zinguinchor, Senegal) is a naturalized Bissau-Guinean footballer. He plays for Lokomotiv Plovdiv as a forward in the Bulgarian A PFG.[1]

De Carvalho joined the French club Louhans-Cuiseaux in 2000. For two years there, he capped 38 times, scoring 15 goals. Between 2002 and 2004, he played in Sochaux. He spent a one-year period out on loan to Sedan. Basile de Carvalho spent 5 years (between 2005 and 2010) in the French Brest. The team was competing in the Ligue 2 and Championnat National (French third division). In the beginning of 2010, de Carvalho played for Strasbourg in Championnat National. Basile was capped 15 times, scoring 1 goal.
In 2010, he joined PFC Lokomotiv Plovdiv as a replacement for the just-sold Garra Dembele to PFC Levski Sofia. For six months there, he scored 7 goals in 13 matches.
In September 2010, he was called up to the national team of Guinea Bissau for the 2012 African Cup of Nations qualifiers. His debut came on 26 March 2011, in the 0:1 home loss against Uganda in a 2012 African Nations Cup qualifier.[2] On 10 August 2011, De Carvalho opened his account for the national side, scoring twice in the 4:1 win against Equatorial Guinea in a friendly match.[3]
